| PARTICIPATING PROFESSIONAL: A participating professional is a working reporter in any of Canada's provinces who meets performance standards set by his or her peers. If you apply in this category, you qualify for grandfathering without the re-testing requirement of an associate member if: • Your credentials were earned through a recognized training program and are validated by CASST/ACTSS; or • Your professional status is recognized by virtue of your membership in a provincial association. To maintain participating professional status in the next membership year, you will be asked to provide evidence of continuing education as established by the association's bylaws. Your provincial association's or NCRA's continuing education credits may be accepted. |
