ASSOCIATE: An associate member is a working reporter who has not proven he or she meets the working criteria established for the Canadian industry. An associate is nevertheless a full, participating member of the association but without authorization to use CASST/ACTSS letter titles. If you have qualified for and belonged to a provincial association in the past, you might be eligible for grandfathering by rejoining that association before the first annual general meeting of CASST.
